We visited Atelier Kramar on a recommendation from a friend, and we didn’t know what to expect except that our friend is a sommelier who loves their wine so we trusted him. However, we were blown away by not only their wine but the entire experience, which was possibly the best wine tasting we have ever had! The tasting took place at their private home, which is beautiful, and it ended up being a private tasting. Matjaž guided us through the wine-making process while Katja prepared an incredible vegetable and cheese board. Everything from the food to the dining experience was 5 stars and beautifully presented, which came as no surprise once we learned that they are both artists. Their hospitality and clear love and passion for their wine and work are unmatched. We cannot recommend a wine tasting with them enough! We hope to return one day!

Beautiful place with great natural wines

We had an amazing and fun wine tasting. Matjaz and Katja are experienced, passionate and inspirational people. Would definitely recommend if you're into (or interested in getting into) natural wine!

La compagnia di Matjaz è stata inebriante, abbiamo trascorso 3 ore a parlare di vino accompagnati dal suo racconto esperto e soprattutto appassionato. Katia ha preparato una degustazione di prodotti che si mangiavano prima con gli occhi ed al gusto erano eccellenti. Siamo stati molto bene ma soprattutto ci hanno permesso di scoprire la storia dei luoghi dove hanno deciso di trascorrere le loro vite. Grazie mille

Matjaz e Katia ci hanno accolto con la loro simpatia e disponibilità, ci hanno fatto visitare la cantina, raccontato con passione del loro lavoro e della loro terra, narrato la loro bellissima storia. La degustazione di ottimi vini è stata accompagnata da prodotti tipici in gran parte di loro produzione, vere specialità.
