Fabulous wine tasting experience. Plenty of variety and explanation for each. Paired food was incredible gave a taste of the region. Tour of the cellar was very interesting, loved it all!

Wow! The new place and interior is insane. You can see from the details that everything is created and maintained with love and passion. Wonderful wine experience with tasting of various vines. Snacks were top notch as well. It was over my expectations. I recommend to elevate the prices for tasting or even have another option for higher price with more wines. We stayed for one night here and wished it had been longer. We received a fantastic welcome from one of the brothers. The new rooms and facility are incredible - the rooms, the pool and the views are all fantastic. We also did a wine tasting and it was all amazing! Had to buy some extra luggage to take the bottles we bought back home with us. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Odlična nova namestitev z degustacijo odličnih vin in zelo okusnimi zajtrkom, tudi za vegane! Izredno prijazni lastniki in zaposleni. Ogrevan bazen je pika na I. Sobe, nove so zelo udobne in estetsko dovršene. Vinska klet je sodobna z mnogimi presenečenji, vsega ne izdam!

Hier moet je zijn als wijnliefhebber! Prachtige ligging met adembenemend uitzicht over de wijngaarden. Je proeft 8 verschillende soorten wijn, elk met een andere unieke smaak. Je krijgt ook een bordje met streekproducten tijdens de degustatie. Je krijgt een rondleiding in het wijnhuis en er wordt info verteld over de geschiedenis van het familiebedrijf. Achteraf kan je de wijnen ook aankopen.

Beautiful view, excellent wines! With a large selection. Each wine has a different and complex personality. The place is very modern and yet you feel it is a family business, with big history and a lot of passion and heart put in to it. Alongside the tasting was a delicious high quality appetizers who went along perfectly with the wines and the atmosphere. We enjoyed the tour in the cellar, seeing the soil and smelling the barrels. Highly recommended! Will come again.

Una bella cantina moderna con una grande attenzione alla tradizione vinicola della zona. I proprietari sono persone cortesi e di grande disponibilità e professionalità nello spiegare tutti i loro prodotti con estrema passione e competenza. Complimenti ancora.

We have had 5 wine tastings in this wonderful country, all have been very good, but ŠČUREK was the premium experience The cellar tour was the most informative, the family’s new venue is spectacular and the wines are superb.

Yesterday we visited scurek winery To be honest we didn't book the visit as i should have and even so we were welcomed. At the beginning we started with the tasting with explanations from the wine maker brother (unfortunately I don’t know his name) later on tomaz, the wine maker, joined him and in one second decided that he will take us down stairs to the magic donjon - the wine cellar. Tomaz made us a private tour between the barrels, opend a few and gave us a taste from the future. I strongly recommend all of you who consider her\him as wine lovers to visit the winery and i am sure that you won’t leave empty handed. Dear tomaz if you are reading this thank you so much for the wonderful tasting and experience.

Vino Modri Pinot vinogradnika Ščurek je pravo odkritje iz čudovitega vinorodnega območja Goriških Brd. To vino ima svoj edinstven čar, ki vas bo zagotovo navdušil. Aroma tega Modrega Pinota je subtilna, s prijetnimi notami rdečega sadja, češenj in nežnimi začimbami. Vonj vas popelje v svet čudovitih vinogradov Goriških Brd, kar že ob odpiranju steklenice obljublja posebno doživetje. Modri Pinot, vinogradnika Ščurek je suh, ima srednje telo in uravnoteženo kislino. Okusi rdečega sadja in nežnih začimb se prepletajo na prijeten in harmoničen način, ustvarjajoč resnično prijetno vinsko doživetje. Na desetstopenjski lestvici bi temu vinu dal oceno 7,8 od 10. Modri Pinot Ščurek je vino, ki ga je vredno poskusiti in je odlična izbira za raziskovanje različnih vin iz Goriških Brd. S svojim izrazitim karakterjem in prijetno kompleksnostjo bo navdušilo ljubitelje vin.

Although we came without reservation, one of the owners gave us a short tour in the callar, prepared all for us so we could do the wine tasting. Nice experience :)

Degustazione di vini assolutamente consigliata…e non solo per l’alta qualità dei prodotti ma anche per la passione dimostrata dai titolari verso la propria attività vinicola a conduzione familiare! 5 fratelli che portano avanti una tradizione slovena di tutto rispetto, con ottimi vini a prezzi onesti. Il più piccolo dei 5 ci ha dedicato due ore per parlare di vino: come si fa, che differenza c’è tra i diversi metodi, come si riconosce un buon prodotto alla vista….e al gusto! 7 assaggi di puro piacere accompagnati da salumi e formaggi locali! Esperienza Vivamente Consigliata!

What a great experience! A family venture, all of them super laidback. Even though their wines are out of this world they still seem to have their feet sturdily on the the rich ground of Brda. A thing that I really liked as well is their appreciation of art which translates into beautiful artwork from various artists on the barrels. Plus they have a big labrador.

🇬🇧 Excellent, award winning wine. One of the best wine makers in Slovenia. Their first bottling was around 93' and going strong ever since. Pinot grigio, Dugo, and Up, simply the best.
